Rach Karma, a metal artist and the lead singer of the band NEVERMOURN, gave a spirited rendition of “Holy Diver” on a recent edition of American Idol.
Despite Karma’s best attempts, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan, the judges, were unimpressed and said the word “no.”
Lionel Richie, the third judge, likewise ruled against approving Karma. He did, however, unintentionally reveal that he like rock ‘n’ roll music and that “Rob Zombie happens to be one of my dearest pals” during the process.
Below is a video of Karma’s performance:

Well, I was ready to rip into perry & bryan for saying no to this heavy metal performance more then likely because it’s not their crappy type of music they perform which seems to be the norm for this POS show, (Lionel Ritchie is the only one who is credible to be a judge on this show). BUT, after hearing that girl ‘sing’ that song, I can’t blame them for saying no .
