L.A. Guns’ Tracii Guns shared a tweet where he’s slamming bands that are faking their live performances.
Lately, Motley Crue have been targeted for faking the live performance so perhaps this was an indirect jab at the glam legends.
On his Twitter page, Tracii shared the following:
“Any kind of art, including music and performing live, should come from a place of human passion. One of the reasons I love Garage Bands and early punk rock bands is because they don’t really care about anything other than playing their instruments together and making a statement through those performances.
”I’ll never understand what could possibly be self-fulling as an artist by faking anything in performance. One could argue it’s for the entertainment value of perfection for the audience.
”I don’t really go to big shows, but if I did and the artist wasn’t being true to themselves, I would not be happy. That’s just me, though.”
