Watch Jason Newsted Smash METALLICA Classics With First NEWSTED Concert In Nearly 10 Years

After a hiatus of almost ten years, Jason Newsted, the former bassist of the legendary band Metallica, made a triumphant return to the stage with his project, appropriately named NEWSTED. The highly anticipated performance took place last night, on Saturday, May 20, at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

During the show, Newsted showcased his exceptional skills as both a bassist and vocalist, captivating the audience with his electrifying stage presence. Joining him were the original members of NEWSTED, Jesus Mendez Jr. (known as UNDERLORD) on drums and Jessie Farnsworth (also known as UNDERLORD) on guitar. Adding a fresh dynamic to the lineup was the new guitarist, Humberto Perez.

The concert marked a significant moment for fans of Jason Newsted and his music, as it was the first time in nearly a decade that they had the opportunity to witness a NEWSTED performance. The anticipation leading up to the event was palpable, and the crowd’s excitement was evident as they eagerly awaited the band’s appearance on stage.
