During an interview with Classic Rock magazine, guitarist Joe Perry talked about whether there’ll be new Aerosmith music following 2012’s ”Music From Another Dimension!”.
About it, Perry said:
“I don’t know. At this point, I want to tour as much as we can. I want to get out and play to the fans.
”That’s really the focus right now, to get out and play live. If we get time to work on some new music, that would be great, but knowing Steven (Tyler) and knowing our age and what it takes to do an album…
”I don’t know. I’m always playing, I’m always writing stuff, but at this stage, I can’t say. I just want to get through this next tour and play live and give something back to the fans.”

You know I’m 71 years old thru the years you guys have been so great and now with news on Steven health hope you can get thru this tour if not you all did your time and it time to smell the roses life easy street love you all best wishes rock on.
Long live aerosmith and all its members and all its classic rock and roll
You guys are awesome and Aerosmith will live on through the years with what you guys have put out.I know that the music and tours are what keeps you guys going. Just don’t push yourselves past the point of your ability. Like you said Joe, you guys are older now. You have dedicated your entire lives to your music and tours. If some fans get disappointed that you don’t make new music or tour anymore, they dont care about you, they just want more of what you guys can do for them. Take care ofcyourselves, enjoy some time with family and friends.
Just retire Joe it’s better to fade away then rust . You have the money go out with pride . Wheelchairs don’s belong on any stage
