During a conversation with Eddie Trunk’s Trunk Nation, former Motley Crue vocalist, John Corabi, discussed Mick Mars’ solo album release and his concerns about it. Asked if he’ll take part in Mars’ solo album, Corabi said:
“I don’t know, and I have to be honest with you. I texted Mick when that first press release came out, and he did not respond, which was odd for Mick. So, it was funny. I was in Switzerland, and I texted his wife Seraina, and I’m like, ‘I’m in your motherland.’
”She immediately texted me back and said, ‘Oh, I can’t wait to go there at Christmas,’ or whatever it was. Then, I wrote, ‘How’s Mick?’ Radio silence. […]
“But the mixed record, I don’t know if I’m on it or not. I think that there’s going to be, between me and you and fans posed, I don’t know if the record will come out because unfortunately, I believe, I could be wrong on this, but… When he was finished, he signed the record deal with Alan Kovac’s record label.
“So, I gotta believe that they’re not gonna allow him to release that record because I know how those guys worked. It’s like if he releases his record and makes any money at all, it’s gonna go through a lawyer to help him with his lawsuit. So, they’re probably gonna sit on that record. I just hope that Mick can get it back, get it out.”
