Recently, Tara Brown from Australia’s “60 Minutes” had the opportunity to sit down with legendary rock bands DEF LEPPARD and MÖTLEY CRÜE, delving into their exhilarating lifestyle and their ongoing global tour. The captivating 14-minute segment can be viewed below.
Both DEF LEPPARD and MÖTLEY CRÜE made it abundantly clear that they have no intention of hitting the brakes anytime soon.
DEF LEPPARD’s frontman, Joe Elliott, emphatically stated, “No, god. I’m not even legally at retirement age, so it’s not even on the horizon for me. But no, [retirement’s] never crossed my mind. Because we enjoy doing what we do. We always have. Long may it last.”
Meanwhile, MÖTLEY CRÜE continues to stand defiant, proudly displaying their rebellious spirit to the world.
Nikki Sixx confidently added, “I feel like our [middle] finger is about to go higher. I think we’re kind of in the ‘we-don’t-give-a-f*ck’ phase of our career.”
Notably, MÖTLEY CRÜE’s frontman, Vince Neil, had previously discussed the group’s exciting plans for the future, including a new stadium tour next year.
He revealed, “We have eight shows in the U.S. after [our current European tour with DEF LEPPARD]. Then we go to Australia and Japan. And then we do… I think we’re gonna go back in the studio for a couple more songs. And then we will announce a new stadium tour for next summer. And we’re not sure who’s gonna be on it, but there’ll be another tour.”
Fans and music enthusiasts alike can look forward to witnessing these iconic bands continue to rock the stage with their unmatched energy and passion. Stay tuned for more updates on their upcoming tour and new music.
