During a recent conversation with The Rockpit, former Motley Crue vocalist, John Corabi, talked about the vocal abilities of rock singers such as Glen Hughes and Aerosmith’s Stene Tyler, despite their age.
About this, Corabi said the following:
“You know, there is always that rarity, obviously, when people start getting to be -and I’m not taking a piss out of Glenn at all-, but when you get to be in your late 60s, 70s, mid-70s, you look at people not just Glenn Hughes and Steven Tyler… like how the f*ck are you still singing ‘Dream On’ and hitting all those notes and it’s just weird.”
John Corabi shared his thoughts on Glen Hughes as well:
“When I came back with the band, I really dove into the stuff Glenn did, and I’m just sitting there and watching videos and different sh*t like that, and holy sh*t, I love Glenn Hughes, he’s a dear friend, but I want to f**king punch him in the throat! How are you still doing these notes? He’s a freak, he’s just a f**king freak. Nothing but mad love for the guy.”
