K.K. Downing, the former Judas Priest guitarist, reflected on the band’s 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction and how the group has excluded him. Downing mentioned that he and the former Judas Priest drummer, Les Binks, were kept separated from the group and they were treated as ”guests” only.
During a conversation with Sirius XM, Downing said the following:
“We were kept segregated: flights, dressing rooms, hotels, the red carpet. So, it was just total segregation.”
K.K. Downing also mentioned that the current guitarist, Richie Faulkner, was the only one who greeted him, but the other JP members didn’t:
“Richie was great. He came into the dressing room a couple of times. We had a good few laughs. Lots of people were coming to our dressing room, it was good. Dave Grohl popped his head in because he’s such a lovely guy.
”So down to earth, and that was funny. We had a few laughs. And it was great. Didn’t see any of the other (Judas Priest) guys, but there it is.”
