Kiss’ Paul Stanley made a rude reference about the late musician Meatloaf, announcing their performance at the AFL Grand Final.
Back in 2011, Meatloaf performed during the AFL Grand Final which has received a lot of criticism after his performance, also being called ”the perennial poster child of what not to do on Grand Final day.”
Below you can read what Kiss’ Paul Stanley shared about the event:
“It’s an honor for us to be here. Aussies are passionate and certainly about this game. It’s going to be a challenge for us to be louder than the crowd, but we’re going to do our best. We plan on blowing things up, and we promise you there’s no meatloaf on the menu.”
Kiss’ Gene Simmons also shared a status about the event, writing on his Twitter page (now X):
“Thank you to the AFL/Aust Football League and the passionate 106,000 fans for letting us play at the Grand Finals. Sending our good wishes to the Magpies and the Lions. May the best team win.”
