Podcast host Gary Cooper Stuckey, who is also a Journey fan, shared a tweet where he mentioned Journey’s final album recorded with former singer, Steve Perry, ”Trial By Fire”.
”Trial By Fire” was a reunion album that saw the original lineup come together after a hiatus, an album which is considered by some fans overlooked.
See below what Stuckey shared:
“The Journey reunion album and the last one with Steve Perry, ‘Trial By Fire,’ was released 27 years ago today. This album deserves a lot more credit than it has received. Go back and listen to the tracks ‘One More’ and ‘Trial by Fire’… Phenomenal! What is your favorite from the album, and don’t say all of them!”
As a response to Stuckey’s tweet, Journey’s Neal Schon shared:
“I think mainly because we couldn’t support it.”

I just wish they would release this album on vinyl. Neal responds on his Facebook all this time, but he won’t respond to the question if it will ever be released on vinyl. It’s a phenomenal record.
