British heavy metal icons IRON MAIDEN inaugurated the Power Trip festival at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, October 6, in Indio, California. They presented the same captivating 15-song set that has been a cornerstone of their ongoing “The Future Past Tour.”
“The Future Past Tour” features a repertoire that showcases previously unperformed tracks from the band’s most recent studio release, “Senjutsu,” while also focusing on material from the iconic 1986 album “Somewhere In Time,” alongside other beloved classics.As consistent with previous stops on this tour, IRON MAIDEN’s performance at the Empire Polo Club featured standout tracks such as “Days Of Future Past,” “The Time Machine,” “Death Of The Celts,” and “Hell On Earth” from the “Senjutsu” album. Additionally, fans were treated to the enduring “Alexander The Great” from the “Somewhere In Time” record.According to reports from Desert Sun, festivalgoers were eager to enter the venue, with crowds already forming at the entrances as early as 3:40 p.m., even though gates were not slated to open until 4:18 p.m. Despite sweltering temperatures reaching 103 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 39 degrees Celsius), fans eagerly anticipated witnessing IRON MAIDEN’s electrifying performance.
