Def Leppard has released the 18th and last episode of the ‘Behind The World Tour’ YouTube series.
This last episode includes highlights from the final performance of the band’s ‘The World Tour’ alongside Mötley Crüe on November 14 in Melbourne, Australia.
In the eight-minute video, lead singer Joe Elliott provides a glimpse into his hotel life on the road with an emotional farewell with the end of 75 shows in total. He reminisced about the tour and missing the Mötley Crüe crew:
“The last show of the tour. This is where it all comes to an end. It’s all a bit boohoo because I went to see the guys early on and give them a big hug and stuff and say, ‘We’re gonna miss you guys,’ because it’s been great fun, it really has. What a commitment.”
The rockers went on the tour to support their most recent album, ‘Diamond Star Halos.’ Being their biggest-selling album so far, Elliott continued by sharing details about the album:
“But it was great because what we were doing we were promoting ‘Diamond Star Halos,’ biggest selling album we’ve had since ‘Adrenalize,’ then we released ‘Drastic Symphonies,’ which spent 16 weeks on number one of the classical chart.”
