Hot on the heels of its latest successful offering “Congregation of Annihilation”,
METAL CHURCH is heading back to Australia for a string of dates in December
2023.
This will be the first time Aussie audiences will get to see new vocalist Marc
Lopes with the band, stepping into the breach following the tragic passing of
Mike Howe in 2021. Marc is no stranger to Australian stages though, having
toured here in recent times with Ross The Boss.
Marc’s vocal style has delivered a fresh, heavier sound to Metal Church, a
sound which harks back to the early days of David Wayne and “The Dark”. We
caught up with Marc on the eve of the Aussie tour to find out what fans
Downunder can expect from Metal Church live in 2023.
