On December 8, at a Mammoth WVH show in Las Vegas, a heartwarming reunion took place between Michael Anthony and Wolfgang Van Halen.
Wolfgang joyfully shared the backstage moment with the original Van Halen bassist on Facebook, capturing the attention and admiration of fans and fellow artists, including Sammy Hagar. Michael Anthony, in turn, took to Instagram to post a video from the concert and a snapshot alongside the talented singer.
In his Instagram post, Anthony expressed his enthusiasm for the Mammoth WVH performance:
“Went to see Mammoth WVH last night here in Vegas, and they threw it down! Love ya, Wolf, so great to see ya! (Proud of you, brother!)”
The positive response poured in from fans, and even Sammy Hagar joined the celebration, leaving a comment expressing his excitement:
“Totally awesome to see you & Wolf together. Can’t wait to see ya tomorrow, brother.”
Meanwhile, Sammy Hagar has exciting plans in the pipeline, as he is gearing up for a summer tour in 2024 alongside Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, and Joe Satriani. The tour, titled ‘The Best Of All Worlds Tour,’ was unveiled on November 14, with Hagar revealing that they would be performing Van Halen songs throughout the 28-date North American trek. Hagar extended a public invitation to his former bandmates during a conversation on The Howard Stern Show:
“We’re gonna invite every musician in every town. If we’ve got other guitar players, we’ll get them involved. If Alex Van Halen wants to jump up, if David Lee Roth wants to come out and join us, come on, motherf*cker. You are welcome! This is about Van Halen.”
This tour promises to be a nostalgic and collaborative journey, with the prospect of various artists joining the ensemble, creating a unique and unforgettable experience for fans of Van Halen.

Cant miss this!
Sammy is full of crap. When Roth accepted his offer to join the tour, Sammy came up with excuses why his offer wasn’t serious. Sammy is a bloviating, big mouth, egomaniac, who only cares about making money.
