David Lee Roth has recently released a new holiday song titled ‘Talking Christmas Blues.’ The track featuring the ex-Van Halen vocalist speaking over an acoustic guitar and harmonica received positive fan reviews.
A comment on the song’s YouTube release on Friday (December 8) read: “Times have changed; your music is still present because you are simply the ‘voice’ of a generation with good taste. Merry Christmas and a successful New Year to you, my Diamond.”
Another fan noted Roth’s writing skills, saying: “A command of the language and turn of phrase that should be envied by all singers. Dave’s a writer. That’s why we’re still listening to Van Halen records for nearly 50 years now.”
As the song’s cover image was a DLR painting, a third fan expressed admiration for the singer’s artistry and shared:
“Dave, I love your painting and this song in the background! I love your music and your art! Listening to you sing, your voice makes me tremble with joy! Merry Christmas to you, my favorite singer! Thank you very much for always being present and taking us, your fans, into account! I hope for many more videos! Blessings to you!”

At least you can understand David Lee Roth still, Motley Crue needs a urban gibberish dictionary to understand Vince Neil. And Van Halen was never Van Halen without David lee Roth , Sammy is good but not the real voice of VH.. The songs Sammy did were good but it didn’t capture the VH sound..
