SKID ROW’s frontman Erik Grönwall has unveiled a music video for his rendition of WHITESNAKE’s classic “Still Of The Night.” The track, produced by Jona Tee, features Tee on guitar solo, with Erik Modin on drums and Paul Del Bello on bass. Grönwall, who made his recording debut with SKID ROW on “The Gang’s All Here” album, discussed his acceptance by the band’s fans since joining as ZP Theart’s replacement.
In an interview with The Rock N’ Roll & Coffee Show, Grönwall acknowledged the diverse SKID ROW fanbase. He shared encounters with fans who mistook him for Sebastian Bach, emphasizing the range of perspectives among followers. Addressing reunion desires for the classic lineup, he expressed understanding and conveyed optimism about fans approving of the new album:
“I understand the fan perspective of wanting the original lineup — I understand that — because I’m a Bon Scott guy myself… But I think that people are really excited about this new album, and I feel like even the people who want the original lineup are actually starting to approve.”
Despite the lingering desire for the classic lineup reunion, Grönwall views the attention and discussions around SKID ROW as a privilege. He appreciates the fervor from fans, whether positive or negative, recognizing the rarity and value of such engagement in the music industry.
