Richie Sambora appears to harbor reservations about his portrayal in the upcoming Bon Jovi documentary series.
Despite Jon Bon Jovi’s earlier statements suggesting an amicable viewing experience with Sambora, recent remarks from Sambora’s representative indicate a discordant perspective.
In a recent interview with People magazine, the representative asserted that Sambora took issue with certain aspects of the documentary, perceiving a disparity between his own views and the portrayal presented:
“He didn’t like the way he was being cast. He disagrees with how they framed his departure from the band and to him, the currency of happiness is more important than the currency of money.”
Despite their professional parting, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora have maintained a personal connection, as Jon revealed:
“He came over and watched three parts of the docuseries at my house.”
Jon further elaborated on their bond:
“There’s never animosity.”
