In a new episode of SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk”, bassist Geezer Butler was asked to elaborate on Ozzy Osbourne’s latest comment that he’d like to play one last Black Sabbath show with original drummer, Bill Ward.
About this, Butler said:
“Of course, there’s an interest (on my part to do it), but there’s a big ‘but’, you’d have to speak to Bill about it. Everybody wants to do it (but I don’t know if he is) capable (of pulling it off). […]
“Ozzy was hoping to finish it all off next year back in Aston, at the Aston Villa (stadium). I’m definitely up for it, to finish the whole thing off.”
The bassist was also asked if the other Black Sabbath members agreed on a final show or it’s just Ozzy Osbourne talking about it through the media:
“Me and Ozzy have agreed, but I’m not sure about anybody else.”
