Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx recently addressed the possibility of forming another supergroup, but it seems he’s not considering it at the moment.
During an #AskSixx session on X, a fan asked if he had thought about creating a new supergroup and who he would choose to join him.
“My plate is way too full to add another band to the mix,” Sixx responded. “Ha. Sounds like fun but I don’t see doing that except maybe for a soundtrack song or something.”
In 2021, Sixx did venture into supergroup territory by forming L.A. Rats, which included himself, Rob Zombie, John 5, and Tommy Clufetos. The group released their debut single, “I’ve Been Everywhere,” on May 21, 2021, which was featured on the soundtrack for the Netflix movie The Ice Road. While it’s uncertain whether L.A. Rats was a one-off project or the beginning of something more, the band has remained inactive since the song’s release.
