In an exciting development for Van Halen fans, Alex Van Halen has confirmed that there are up to three to four new albums in the works, drawn from unreleased material stored in the band’s 5150 vault. These albums are expected to showcase some incredible, previously unheard tracks.
Alex Van Halen shared that some of the late Eddie Van Halen’s riffs are “amazing,” although he noted that these tracks still require further work. “They’ll need to be fleshed out with musicians to turn them into complete songs,” Alex explained. He also expressed his regret that several of these ideas were left unfinished during Eddie’s lifetime. “It’s a shame these songs weren’t completed while Eddie was still with us.”
Fans of the legendary band are eagerly awaiting what these posthumous albums will bring, as the unreleased material has the potential to shed new light on the band’s musical legacy.

He’s missed big time! Lots of outstanding memories growing up with those guys!
Can’t wait to hear them.
Who’s going to be the singer on them?????
from the vaults….probably old tapes with D.L.LRoth or S.Hagar simply….
Lesson for us all. Life is short. Get off all the bitterness and pettiness. Imagine that if Van Halen members all got along over the decades…. Even after death of EVH (the focal point of the band), there is still pettiness among DLR, SH, and AVH. Only the bass players MA and WVH are mature.
If they were good they definitely would have been on a album so it feels like money grab to me but I will definitely listen to it and I could be wrong too
my thought on all this is phenomenal Eddie is no longer with us anymore so therefore there should not be any kind of music coming out of those vaults that should been done only with his presence in the band.it maybe that someone’s funds are low and need replenishing leave the past alone, and move on.
If Eddie played it, let’s hear it 👍
