Guns N’ Roses are reportedly facing difficulties selling tickets for their upcoming UK tour, despite their headlining performance at Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid Stage back in June 2023. According to Metro.co.uk, the band’s new tour marks their first non-festival performance in England since 2022. Their We’re F’N’ Back! Tour included two nights in Tottenham, but this new venture has limited UK dates.
The trend of the band playing only a select number of UK shows continues. While the European leg of the 2024 tour features 24 dates, only London and Birmingham are included in the UK leg.
Ticket sales have been slow, with many sections still available, including the premium Gold Circle VIP areas and hospitality options at Villa Park. Despite tickets going on sale on December 13, many seats remain unsold at both Wembley Stadium and Villa Park, two weeks later.
The UK leg of the tour begins on June 23 at Birmingham’s Villa Park, which holds 42,000 people, followed by a performance at Wembley Stadium in London on June 26, with a capacity of 90,000.
Several fans on X have expressed that they were hesitant to purchase tickets due to the high cost, especially considering the number of recent stadium concerts. This has led to a strain on music lovers’ budgets, making it harder for many to justify the expense.
