Ticket prices for Black Sabbath’s upcoming final show have been announced, and they’re causing quite a stir among fans.
A pre-sale for exclusive ‘invited fans only’ began on February 11, while the general sale will open on February 14 at 10 am GMT. Ticket prices are steep, ranging from £197.50 to £834, not including a £2.75 handling fee. VIP packages are sold separately. All profits from ticket sales will go toward supporting Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice.
Ticketmaster has stated that the tickets available are limited and may vary in pricing depending on the venue. However, additional tickets will be available during the general sale.
Many fans are upset about the prices. One user on X expressed their frustration, writing, “Okay those Black Sabbath ticket prices are ridiculous if im not shooting heroin with Ozzy for that amount it aint worth it.” Another person added, “Black Sabbath ticket prices are genuinely insane btw idc how big of a show it is nobody should be charging £400 for sh*t seats.”
One more fan chimed in, “Black Sabbath at Villa is a historic moment, but at £500 a ticket, many lifelong fans are priced out. Since it’s for charity, why not make it more accessible? A public screening in a park could let more people be part of it for a lower donation. Who knows how to make this happen?”
