Lou Gramm Announces Retirement Tour—But He’s Not Saying Goodbye Just Yet
Former Foreigner frontman Lou Gramm has officially announced his retirement from full-time touring—but fans can still catch him on stage in the coming years.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Gramm revealed his upcoming performance plans and his involvement with Foreigner’s milestone celebration.
“I’m excited to announce that I’ll be making special appearances with Foreigner over the next year, including shows in South America this spring and additional dates in fall 2025 and into 2026 as a part of their 50th anniversary celebrations,” Gramm stated.
While he’s saying farewell to full-time touring, Gramm’s summer schedule will include one final run with his band, the Lou Gramm All Stars.
“This summer, I’ll be concluding my final full-time tour with the Lou Gramm All Stars, The ‘One Last Look’ Tour, marking my retirement from full-time touring,” he continued.
Gramm also expressed deep gratitude for the talented musicians who’ve shared the road with him in recent years:
“I’m thankful for the exceptional musicians who’ve been part of the Lou Gramm All Stars over the past four years: Tony Franklin, Scott Gilman, Jeff Jacobs, Ben Gramm, Gary Hoey, Alex Garcia, Jeff Kollman, Mike Staertow, Jonathan Gilcrest, Carolyn Liddle, and Benito DiBartoli. Your dedication and talent have made this journey unforgettable.”
Despite stepping back from the road, Gramm made it clear this isn’t a final goodbye.
“I want to be clear—this isn’t goodbye just yet. I plan to make occasional special appearances as I close out this amazing chapter of my life,” he added. “Thank you for your unwavering support, cherished memories, and the music we’ve shared. It’s been an incredible ride.”
As Foreigner gears up to mark 50 years of music, Gramm’s announcement adds a deeply personal layer to the band’s ongoing legacy—celebrating both a remarkable career and a future of special encore moments.
