Legendary former Journey frontman Steve Perry has resurfaced—and fans are already speculating a massive reunion might be on the horizon.
Rooster Relics, a vintage music memorabilia shop, recently shared a Facebook post documenting their encounter with the iconic vocalist.
“Got to meet one of the greatest voices of all time, Steve Perry,” Rooster Relics stated. “The lead singer of Journey, who went on to a Solo career. Meeting him was such an honor, and is such a nice guy. He was very surprised that I recognized him. Talking to him, I learned that he is getting back into singing again.”
That simple post has ignited a storm of conversation across fan groups, especially with what followed.
Journey’s guitarist Neal Schon threw gasoline on the fire by sharing an image titled ‘Journey Beyond’ on X, formerly known as Twitter. Shortly after, he posted a photo of Steve Perry himself on his Facebook page. Unsurprisingly, the internet exploded.
The Journey fanbase is now buzzing with speculation that these breadcrumbs could point to a long-awaited reunion. Perry, who famously left the band years ago, has been largely absent from the spotlight—until now. Combined with his unexpected announcement of returning to singing and Schon’s cryptic posts, the rumors feel more real than ever.
Whether this is just a nostalgic tease or the beginning of something bigger, one thing’s clear: fans are ready for a Journey they never thought they’d take again.

A journey reunion with Steve Perry? I’ve been a Journey since I was a teenager and never had the opportunity to see them with Steve. It’s been something I’ve always wanted to see and if it’s true, I would travel to wherever and pay for a ticket to see that. It would be a dream come true.
