KISS lead guitarist Tommy Thayer will join founding members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley for a special performance at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas without their iconic makeup. The event, titled KISS Army Storms Vegas, will take place from November 14 to November 16, 2025, as part of a three-day celebration marking the 50th anniversary of the KISS fan club.
The event is set to feature a stellar lineup of artists, including Thayer’s former band, BLACK ‘N BLUE, along with former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach. Additionally, tribute bands MR. SPEED and KISS NATION: THE KISS TRIBUTE SHOW will add to the celebration.
The KISS Army Storms Vegas event is particularly significant as it marks KISS’s first live performance since the band concluded their End of The Road farewell tour at Madison Square Garden in December 2023. This makeup-free performance will allow fans to experience a more intimate side of the band, with Simmons and Stanley sharing personal stories and behind-the-scenes moments.
The event will also include question-and-answer sessions with Simmons, Stanley, and KISS’s longtime manager Doc McGhee, where fans will have the chance to ask questions and hear firsthand stories from the band’s journey. In a special nod to KISS’s legacy, Bill Starkey and Jay Evans, the founders of the KISS Army, will make appearances during the event. Former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick will also be making a guest performance, adding to the excitement.
Fans of KISS can look forward to a one-of-a-kind experience that honors the band’s legacy and the KISS Army community, all while celebrating the band’s monumental 50-year journey.
