Kid Rock has never been shy about his political views, and his recent appearance on Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime proved that once again.
When asked to assess Donald Trump’s performance during his early days back in office, the rock star didn’t hold back.
“Fan-freaking-tastic,” Kid Rock said, describing Trump’s first 100 days.
He emphasized the importance of having a businessman in the White House, saying:
“Having a businessman in chief — the business of America has been, as we all know, terrible, especially the last four years. But really for decades before this. And to have somebody come in that’s just putting our country first, securing the border…”
But it was his next comment that truly stirred the pot:
“I call him the dragon slayer for all the woke DEI stuff that he took out,” Rock added.
During his initial days in office, Trump signed executive orders aimed at eliminating federal support for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. His administration is also attempting to cut funding to schools and universities that promote DEI programming.
Kid Rock praised these actions, seeing them as part of a broader cultural shift.
“He’s bringing the real fabric of America back,” he stated.
He concluded by asserting that national pride is making a comeback:
“Patriotism [is] at an all-time high.”
