In a rare move for a rock veteran, Poison drummer Rikki Rockett is handing over the power to the fans—literally. During a recent appearance on the Iron City Rocks Podcast, Rockett revealed that fans will decide which songs The Rockett Mafia will perform on their upcoming 2025 tour.
“What Songs Do You Wanna Hear?” Rockett Asks Fans
Rockett shared his intention to crowdsource the setlist through online polling.
“What I’m gonna do, and I was gonna do it today, actually, and maybe I still will, I was gonna take a poll on some social media platforms and literally ask fans, ‘What songs do you wanna hear?’ and choose ’em that way,” Rockett said.
This fan-first approach flips the script on how many legacy rock acts choose their touring material.
No Skipped Tracks—Just Fan Favorites
Rockett emphasized his open attitude toward any song in the band’s catalog.
“I wanna give the people what they want, literally, because I love all our songs,” he continued. “I love our body of work. I like some songs better than other ones, of course, but there’s nothing I hate. So if the fans really wanna hear something, I’ve got no problem playing it.”
This level of transparency and flexibility offers a rare chance for fans to hear deep cuts, underrated favorites, and even rarely played tracks live on stage.
Tour Plans & Fan Polling Details
The Rockett Mafia is scheduled to tour in 2025, with the final setlist determined entirely by fan input via social media polls. The move signals Rockett’s strong connection to his fanbase—and trust in their musical judgment.
