Tommy Lee has officially responded to widespread rumors that he and wife Brittany Furlan have separated, following a bizarre and very public catfishing scandal involving someone impersonating Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday (July 19), the Mötley Crüe drummer posted a blunt denial:
“Hey fake news we’re not separated or divorced!! Get your sh*t together!! 🤣”
The Catfishing Controversy
The scandal began back in May, when Furlan revealed on TikTok that she had unknowingly been communicating with a catfish on Snapchat — someone pretending to be Radke.
“I’ve been going through a really tough time in my marriage, which was none of anyone’s f***ing business,” she said. “I told my husband everything… I’m not a good person for talking to someone while married… No excuse, whatever.”
Furlan admitted she was living in a hotel at the time and claimed she confessed to Lee, prompting a major fallout.
“I come clean to my husband, my husband freaks out, messages [Radke], that’s how this all started.”
Tommy Lee vs. Ronnie Radke: Misunderstanding Turns Explosive
Before learning it was a catfish behind the messages, Lee reportedly messaged Radke directly, accusing him of inappropriate conduct:
“Don’t fk with me dude! What the fk are you talking about on Snapchat? You guys are supposed to have some fing fgts *ss dinner date last night.”
Radke responded in disbelief:
“Bro I don’t have Snapchat. I like you bro, I wouldn’t mess with your wife.”
FBI Investigation Underway
According to Radke, the matter is no longer just a private scandal — it’s now a federal crime. In an interview with TMZ, Radke confirmed that the FBI is investigating the person who impersonated him and targeted multiple women.
“There’s multiple other girls involved… The FBI is now involved and it’s a felony. It’s a crime. So, yeah, it’s pretty serious, I guess.”
Despite the chaos, Lee’s recent Instagram post suggests he and Furlan are working through it — and that divorce is not on the table.
