Sammy Hagar is bringing the energy of Las Vegas straight to fans around the world with his brand-new live album, Sammy Hagar & The Best of All Worlds Band: The Residency, set for release on October 10, 2025, via Big Machine Rock.
Recorded during his sold-out 2025 Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM, the album captures 18 explosive performances from Hagar and his supergroup, The Best of All Worlds Band. The lineup includes bassist Michael Anthony (Van Halen, Chickenfoot), guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, powerhouse drummer Kenny Aronoff, and multi-instrumentalist Rai Thistlethwayte.
A Celebration of Hagar’s Iconic Catalog
The live set spans Hagar’s remarkable career, featuring solo hits, Montrose classics, and—most notably—the deepest dive into his Van Halen years in more than two decades. Fans can expect blistering renditions of “Top of the World,” “5150,” “Poundcake,” “Best of Both Worlds,” and the emotional “Love Walks In.”
The album’s first advance track, “Summer Nights (Live),” is streaming now across all digital platforms, with full pre-orders available today.
Reflecting on the track, Hagar shared:
“‘Summer Nights’ was one of the first songs we wrote for the 5150 record, on our very first day in the studio. Eddie played me that guitar riff and I just started singing ‘summer nights and my radio,’ and the rest of the lyrics just came out like a river of consciousness. I don’t think there’s a better theme song for a beautiful summer night, so it had to be the first track this summer from the live album.”
