The bitter feud between Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx and the band’s former guitarist Mick Mars has taken another turn. This time, Mars’ daughter Stormy Deal has stepped into the drama, publicly criticizing Sixx in a passionate social media post.
Stormy Deal Defends Her Father
Stormy Deal shared a lengthy statement on Instagram, directly addressing Sixx’s alleged comments about being “ashamed” of Mars.
“I wasn’t going to say anything about Nikki claiming he’s ashamed of my dad and that everyone else should be too,” Deal began. “This is a classic empath vs narcissist dynamic. When Nikki can’t provoke my dad, he turns to a smear campaign. But it won’t work. My dad has some of the best fans in the world and they see through it.”
She went on to accuse Sixx of damaging Mötley Crüe’s legacy rather than preserving it.
“Nikki should be the one ashamed,” she continued. “Instead of honoring his own legacy and my dad’s, he’s ruining both into the ground. Mötley could have come out on top, leaving behind the ultimate retirement, a legacy filled with pride, and stories to share with future grandchildren. Instead, Nikki is choosing bitterness, making himself look like a complete fool, and leaving fans with a sour memory of Mötley’s last chapter.”
Deal ended her post on a defiant note, praising her father’s loyal fan base:
“At the end of the day Mick Mars fans are the best. F-ck the rest.”
In her caption, she made sure to discourage fans from harassing Sixx or other Mötley Crüe members, adding:
“I’m so sad 😢 and it makes me angry. But PLEASE DO NOT GO AND HARASS NIKKI OR THE OTHER GUYS. I am a daughter that just loves her dad and showing support.”
Nikki Sixx Faces Fan Question on “Narcissism”
Stormy Deal’s post sparked heavy discussion among fans online. A few days later, a user on Twitter/X indirectly referenced Deal’s words when asking Sixx whether he considered himself a narcissist.
“You really aren’t a narcissist are you?” the fan wrote. “You worked hard to get where you are and been through hell n back. You should have pride in that.”
Sixx didn’t ignore the question and offered a direct response.
“I’ve been in therapy since I found recovery and have never been labeled that,” Sixx said. “People use it as an insult without understanding what it actually is. So the answer is NO.”
A Feud That Won’t Go Away
The exchange highlights the ongoing tension between Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars, whose relationship deteriorated after Mars retired from touring in 2022 due to health issues. Following his departure, legal disputes and public accusations have repeatedly made headlines, painting an ugly picture of Mötley Crüe’s final years as an active touring band.
While Sixx has often defended his position by emphasizing his sobriety, work ethic, and long-standing role in keeping the band active, Mars and those close to him continue to push back against what they see as disrespect and mistreatment.
Legacy at Risk?
Fans remain divided. On one hand, many support Mars, praising his decades of dedication and resilience despite serious health struggles. On the other, Sixx has his loyal followers who credit him with keeping Mötley Crüe alive and relevant in the modern era.
Stormy Deal’s comments have only added more fuel to the fire, proving that the feud is far from over. What was once a band known for its rebellious anthems and wild stage shows is now remembered just as much for its internal conflicts.
