Rock legends RUSH are officially returning to the stage in 2026 for their highly anticipated “Fifty Something” Tour, marking their first live performances in over a decade. The tour celebrates the band’s five-decade legacy and honors the life and contributions of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.
Following an emotional announcement from Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, the duo confirmed that the tour will kick off June 7, 2026, at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California. They will be joined by acclaimed German drummer Anika Nilles, who previously performed with Jeff Beck.

Each show will feature two full sets of music, spanning 35 iconic tracks from RUSH’s catalog — from fan favorites to deep cuts. The tour promises a powerful, emotionally charged experience that bridges the band’s past with its next chapter.
A Tribute to Neil Peart
In a heartfelt statement, Lee and Lifeson emphasized that this tour is a celebration of RUSH’s history and a tribute to Peart’s artistry:
“Neil was irreplaceable. Yet life is full of surprises, and we’ve been introduced to another remarkable person in Anika Nilles… We could not be more excited to introduce her to our loyal and dedicated RUSH fanbase.”
Peart’s widow and daughter, Carrie Nuttall-Peart and Olivia Peart, have also voiced support for the upcoming shows, praising the band’s decision to honor Neil’s legacy through music and live performance.
