Periphery is a band that I have grown completely affectionate of. This is a band that has taken everything in stride throughout their career and found a way to rise above any challenge. While they have gathered a massive following over the years, the news that they were working on their third album in 18 months came as a shock, and I wasn’t sure if the band could provide something of the quality that fans have come to expect. Luckily, ‘Select Difficulty’ (Click Here To Read The Review) truly exceeded my expectations.

Metal Wani’s Editor In Chief Owais ‘Vitek’ Nabi had a chat with PERIPHERY frontman Spencer Sotelo. He discusses new album “Select Difficulty”, songwriting, recently released “Juggernaut” double album, why the band released an album within 18 months, getting back to roots and musical direction.

Spencer throws light on vocal approach, choir vocals, orchestral sections & additional 10 songs which are left over from the recording. He also discusses possibility of touring for more than 2 years, dedicated fan-base and more.
