On Friday December 1st, the Marquee Theater was hit by a monstrous tour featuring Trivium, Arch Enemy, While She Sleeps & Fit for An Autopsy. The line stretched down and around the street as eager fans couldn’t wait to get in the venue. It was a very nice evening filled with hundreds of people from all ages. This tour was really great because of the wide range of styles each band had to offer. The crowd really went all out moshing, crowd surfing and just destroying the theater while enjoying their beers.
First up we had Fit for An Autopsy. They kicked things off incredibly strong and got the rowdy crowd going. The guys had lots of energy and brought a lot of heavy rifts with them. Their set was short but they really pumped the fans in the audience.

Next up we had While She Sleeps. They too were very energetic and had a great set. The room was jammed with people and they were not shy to start moshing and crowd surfing. As people started moving so did the temperature rise in the room. The atmosphere was filled with high energy and fueled by lots of alcohol.
Finally we had Arch Enemy next. This was the second time I have seen them with Alissa on vocals and I must say she did an amazing job. Their set list had a few old classics but featured several songs off the last previous albums. I must say that my two favorite songs of the night were “My Apocalypse and Nemesis.” From stage clothes to performance you can tell the dedication to detail and passion the band puts into their sets. From the amazing guitar solos to the incredibly fast drums every song was on point and the crowd went wild.
Lastly we had Trivium. I was surprised at how intense the bands fans are. Their crowd seemed to be a bit younger and wilder as everyone was crowd surfing. I must say that Matt does an incredible job singing and playing guitar. The intensity in his voice was very captivating. All their songs were amazing and everybody was having a good time. Their set list consisted of “The Sin and the Sentence, Betrayer, Rain, Strife, Thrown into the Fire” and many more.
Overall it was an amazing show. All the bands were full of energy and the fans were just as crazy. The different range of styles and fans created an awesome atmosphere. It was a wild Friday night in Tempe, Arizona to say the least.
