GALLERY: Kamelot, Delain & Battle Beast Live at The Mercury Ballroom, Louisville, KY

Monday, April 16^th was an extremely cold Spring day for Louisville, KY. In fact, waiting in line at the Mercury Ballroom for the Kamelot, Delain, and Battle Beast tour, meant waiting in cold, wet, snow. Once the doors were opened and everyone warmed up, the mood in the venue reached a rather cheery one.

Mattie Jensen

Mattie Jensen is Metal Wani's Power Metal Chick. She is the master, looking down from the edge of space and time, flesh and steel intertwined. Living in a land of grace and glory, if only in her mind, she often envisions epic battles of studly long haired men gleaming from sweat, with the wonderful soundtrack of axes and shields clashing when steel meets steel. Swords drawn, held high, their whips and armor shine, and in the last hour they become a slave to the power of death... She could go on, but this of course, is the end of a tale that wasn't right.
