During a Beats 1 interview, Ozzy Osbourne talked about working with Post Malone’s producer Andrew Watt.
He said:
“If it had been anybody else, I would be still here sitting here: ‘What guitars did you use?’… He just did it. He had done the backing tracks, I came in, I put my vocal on it and wrote lyrics with him.
“We don’t do this for a job. This is a passion. When you meet a girl, or you meet someone that you’re attracted to, you know instantly if you want to see this person again.
“When I met Andrew, I thought, ‘He’s some wackjob, what the f*ck?’ And he probably thought, ‘What’s this all about, this guy?’ If something comes to me super-quick, I’m, like, ‘Wait a minute, am I saying this because I’m feeling sorry for myself or I want to do some music?’
“But then I take it on, and Sharon goes, ‘Did you just write that? Carry on…’ I have to play it to other people in my house, people that for me – she’s my biggest fan, but she also tells me the truth, and she goes, ‘You f*cked up.’
“We have the greatest relationship, I’m not the greatest, I’m not perfect, it’s had its ups and downs, but we get on with it. I’m not that much of an a*s, I have my moments.”
