With the pandemic still ongoing and almost all tours getting canceled/postponed this year, MOTLEY CRUE, DEF LEPPARD The Stadium Tour is still being questioned by the fans worldwide.
While the American market is trying to reopen things in the past few months, it does not appear that enough progress will be made for The Stadium Tour to be able to proceed on its opening night of June 19, 2021.
Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx appears to be unsure as well. Here’s the message from Nikki to all CRUE fans:
“Just like you we are waiting on a definitive answer…”
The tour will stop at Citi Field in Queens on July 15, 2021. The show was originally slated for 2020 but was postponed because of the pandemic.
As far as the number of ticket holders due to COVID protocol, only 9,000 fans will be permitted into Citi Field because of the restrictions. Other pandemic protocols will be in place for the event. Mandatory face masks and COVID tests will be required to enter Citi Field.
It’s still unknown whether proof of vaccination may also be required so check before you book.
