Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar has officially announced that his highly successful 2024 summer tour, The Best of All Worlds, will evolve into a Las Vegas residency in 2025. Titled The Best of All Worlds Tour – The Residency, the special engagement will take place at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada, running from April 30 through May 17, 2025.
This residency marks an exciting reunion of Sammy Hagar with his powerhouse bandmates: Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Kenny Aronoff. Fans can expect an exclusive setlist designed specifically for this Las Vegas residency, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the rock legends perform a hit-packed show that spans Hagar’s illustrious career.
A Career-Spanning Setlist and High-Energy Experience
The residency will feature a deep dive into Sammy Hagar’s extensive catalog, covering his early years with Montrose, his iconic solo work, and his celebrated tenure with Van Halen and Chickenfoot. With this one-of-a-kind Las Vegas residency, fans will experience Hagar’s greatest hits up close in a more intimate, high-energy setting at Dolby Live, a 5,200-seat venue known for its exceptional acoustics and production.
“I’m so looking forward to this residency and being able to stay in one place so we can get the sound and production completely dialed in,” Hagar said. “It also allows the band to experiment with the setlist every night — that’s why it’s going to be exclusive to Las Vegas. Instead of traveling all day on tour with no time to rehearse, this residency gives us the time and space to really dig into the Van Halen catalog, my solo career, Montrose, Chickenfoot, and beyond. Fans can expect a lot of surprises.”
A Legacy of Hits and Chart-Topping Success
The Las Vegas residency follows the success of Hagar’s The Best of All Worlds tour, which sold out arenas and amphitheaters across North America and Japan. This momentum was further amplified by the 2023 release of The Collection II, a box set featuring remastered versions of the four #1 albums from the Van Halen era with Hagar: 5150 (1986), OU812 (1988), For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge (1991), and Balance (1995). These albums have reignited the excitement of fans, many of whom have not heard these classics live since Van Halen’s 2004 reunion tour.
Rai Thistlethwayte, the talented musician known for his work with Thirsty Merc, will also return on keyboards and backing vocals to complete the lineup, rounding out the band’s legendary sound for this exclusive residency.
An Exclusive, High-Energy Las Vegas Experience
Presented by Live Nation and MGM Resorts International, The Best of All Worlds Tour – The Residency promises to deliver an electrifying concert experience, offering fans a front-row seat to one of rock music’s most iconic groups in an intimate venue designed to showcase their incredible musical chemistry.
With a setlist that’s bound to evolve every night, this Las Vegas residency will give fans the chance to experience an unparalleled, high-energy rock show while celebrating the legacy of Sammy Hagar and his remarkable career.
