Legendary rock band Aerosmith might not be finished just yet. Their longtime producer, Jack Douglas, has hinted at a possible return, sparking speculation among fans.
In a recent interview with The New York Post, Douglas addressed the growing buzz around the band’s future.
“I hope so. I don’t know, I hear rumors,” Douglas said when asked about a comeback. “But I’m sure that they would love to.”
The producer went on to emphasize the band’s enduring spirit and passion for live music.
“I mean, these guys want to keep playing,” he continued. “There is no Aerosmith without Steven. So if Steven can sing, believe me, he’ll want to be out there.”
These statements arrive just months after Aerosmith was forced to cancel their farewell tour. The tour was abruptly halted due to frontman Steven Tyler’s vocal cord injury, which required surgery.
The injury led fans to believe that the iconic rock band might truly be calling it quits. But Douglas’s recent comments have reignited hope that Aerosmith’s final bow may not happen anytime soon.
Despite the uncertainty, one thing is clear — if Steven Tyler recovers fully, a return to the stage could be more than just a rumor.
