Fans are erupting with outrage over the latest controversy involving glam metal titans MÖTLEY CRÜE, after reports surfaced that Sharon Osbourne personally removed the band from Ozzy Osbourne’s final concert lineup.
According to a bombshell report from TMD, the band was ousted after allegedly demanding one-third of the concert’s revenue, which has now reportedly raised $190 million for charity. Not only that, but the Crüe reportedly insisted on using backing tracks for both lead vocals and primary instruments during the performance.
The Vince Neil Problem Behind the Scenes
While fans were focused on the money grab and lip-syncing scandal, sources say the real issue behind the scenes is frontman Vince Neil.
TMD claims that Vince Neil has recently relapsed into alcoholism, citing the ongoing pressure of fame and lifestyle expectations. His latest bender follows a pattern: ahead of The Stadium Tour, Neil was seen downing $10,000 bottles of alcohol despite promises to get in shape and improve his vocal performance.
Instead, the opposite happened.
Neil, Nikki Sixx, and Tommy Lee were all allegedly caught lip-syncing and using tape support during the Stadium Tour. Tommy Lee, in particular, was seen fake drumming, confirmed by former guitarist Mick Mars, who called himself “the only real musician in the band” during a legal dispute over profits.
Mars’ lawsuit also revealed that the band tried to force him out and cut him off from earnings, escalating tensions and deepening suspicions about the group’s internal dysfunction.
A History of Relapse and Wreckage
Fans may remember that in 2021, Ozzy Osbourne reportedly personally took Neil to rehab. But Neil allegedly ditched the treatment and resumed drinking. This led to a string of on-stage disasters: he claimed he lost his voice during one solo performance and fell off the stage during another, injuring his ribs.
The chaos didn’t end there. The band’s planned full-length album was reportedly scrapped after accusations emerged that they were using AI-generated content to produce new music.
