In a recent interview with SiriusXM’s “Jim & Sam Show”, Kiss’s Paul Stanley opened about the band’s reunion with the original line-up.
He replied:
“Well, the original four are the original four. We were the ones who started this and created the template that we still stand by today. I think where people go wrong is when they think that things can remain timeless and that time doesn’t take its toll. You may want mom and dad to be back together, but it didn’t work out.
”And we had amazing moments and amazing times, and we did some phenomenal things together which, look, tie me to them forever. But that’s not the fairy tale; it doesn’t end there.
“I’ve said before: we couldn’t have been here without Ace [Frehley, guitar] and Peter [Criss, drums], and we couldn’t be here today with Ace and Peter.
“I think people yearn for something that is — I was gonna say ‘impractical.’ I would say impossible. It’s great to look back on, but it’s not that different than if you break up with somebody and years later you go, ‘Wow. Why did that happen? Let me go back.’ You go back and it’s not the same anymore. And you quickly realize, as we did, why it didn’t work out the first time. That’s why it didn’t work out the second time.”

Just STOP. PLEASE. You have enough money. You have bled your fan base for long enough.
Obviously you are not a fan. A fan is still spending because we know value when we see it. If we were not stilll happily buying, they would not be selling. This group “KISS” goes above and beyond when it comes to entertainment for value. Thank You Paul Stanley and KISS for last week and the best Kruise of my life.
Uh we’re not on the same planet the best era of Kiss was with Peter Criss and Ace Frehley. I’m a real Kiss fan from the first hour but Sonic Boom etc the Kruise tour was bad. Go back to kiss’s resource and you’ll see that today’s Kiss is. In 1996 the reunion tour was sales records at the time several city in 20 min tickets were sold out and others in 45 min. Never seen before at the time.
On ticket sales records I know I have with me all the press releases with me. Having worked in a radio station in Quebec City, I had access to the press release wherever the shows were produced before Quebec City. And ka you’re talking to a fan from the beginning. But comes a time that when the group does have dropped out
