Kiss’ Gene Simmons said in an interview with Vintage Guitar that the band has an “awful lot of material” to be used for more live releases, as part of the band’s bootleg series “Off The Soundboard”:
“Yeah. We have a large, temperature-controlled vault. There’s an awful lot of material in there.
“It’s always just about having some downtime to go in there and say, ‘Let’s see what we’ve got.'”
In a recent interview American Songwriter, Paul Stanley talked about the end of Kiss.
Paul said:
“There are two things that are inevitable: death and taxes.
“And it’s inevitable the demise of us playing as a live band. Do I want to see that day? No. But it’s necessary. Before we have no choice, I’d like to end it.
“When I think about the end of it, it doesn’t make me happy. I’ll be ecstatic looking at what we’ve accomplished and what we’ve done, but it’s the end of an era. It’s also the end of a huge part of my life.”
